Paxton Rodriguez (or Mr. American) was a young American backpacker from san francisco california who recently graduated out of Law School, travelling with his roommate and friend Josh, as well as their newfound friend Oli across Europe.

Paris and the Drifter[]

Paxton and Josh's first stop on their thrill experience backpacking trip across Europe was Paris, France where they befriended the overly sexual Icelandic drifter and father, Oli Ericksson.

Paxton welcomed Oli into their voyage, which then stemmed into a trip to Amsterdam, along with the Red Light District.

Amsterdam[]

Paxton, alongside Josh and Oli, travelled to Amsterdam, booked a room in a local hostel, and then stopped at multiple marijuana bars. Afterward, they visited a local retro bar where Paxton received a mobile image of Oil having sex with an unnamed blonde female in a cubicle. Meanwhile, Josh struggled to make advances with multiple women due to his fanny pack he insisted on wearing.

After getting kicked out the bar for starting a fight with a fellow patron of the bar due to a language barrier between them causing unneeded aggression, Paxton went to the Red Light District with Oli and Josh and booked a room with a prostitute.

Josh was uninterested in the experience, which left Paxton and Oli to experience a sexual lap dance on their own. Afterwards, they entered the Dominatrix room.

Paxton, Josh, and Oli returned to the Hostel near midnight, only to discover they were past the hostels given curfew, and were therefore not permitted to enter. Oli decided to further upset the management with his Icelandic singing, which also upset people trying to sleep in the hostel. The people began to throw bottles at Oli, Josh, and Paxton until they were called up by a mysterious man named Alex who welcomed them into his room. Upon entry, the three men immediately noticed Alex's roommate and his roommate's girlfriend having sex while heavily intoxicated, so much so that they were unaware of their surroundings. Alex assured each of them that they shouldn't pay any mind to them.

Alex then fervently informed Paxton of a hostel in Bratislava, Slovakia that is so elusive it is impossible to find in any guidebook. He claimed that it was filled with beautiful women willing to do anything with a foreigner, since a recent war nearby caused a dearth of men in the country.

Pictured evidence finally convinced Paxton and his friends to go to said hostel, and they all travelled on a train to Bratislava, Slovakia.

Hostel In Slovakia[]

Once Paxton and his friends finally stepped foot into the hostel, they spoke to Vala, the lady at the front desk, who informed them that since it was a hostel, they would have roommates. The three expressed their discomfort for the idea of roommates, however, immediately withdrew their complaints once they met the roommates they were paired with. They entered their room and Natalya and Svetlana were there getting dressed. Paxton apologized, however, the women didn't mind, and instead invited them down to the spa.

Paxton, Josh, and Oli decided to accept their offer, and accompanied the two women at the hostel's spa, where in the sauna they engaged in a casual conversation.

After speaking in the spa, Natalya lead Paxton and the others to a nearby club. Paxton danced with Svetlana, while Josh took Natayla and Oli became more acquainted with the desk lady, Vala.

To conclude their night, Paxton, Josh, Natalya, and Svetlana all went to their room. Paxton had with Svetlana. Josh and Natalya attempted to do the same, however were interrupted by Oli, who announced that he and Vala were going to go back to the spa.

The following morning Paxton woke up and conversed with Josh. They spoke lightly about how they appreciated the night they spent with Natalya and Svetlana, but then noticed that Oli still wasn't back. Paxton and Josh assumed that he went to Vala's house, and would be back by breakfast. However, when they went to the hostel's breakfast, Oli was nowhere to be seen.

Their situation was made more bizarre when a woman named Kana they saw at the entrance of the hostel the day prior showed them a a bizarre text message image on her phone, which pictured Oli sitting next to Kana's missing friend. Paxton informed her of the impossibility that Oli would leave with her friend as he doesn't like Japanese women.

Once she had shown Paxton and Josh the image, they consulted with the aloof concierge to discover that Oli purportedly checked out early that morning.

To get their minds off the lurking suspicion that something had happened to Oli, the two embarked on a walk around a nearby lake, where Paxton explained a story from his childhood. Supposedly, Paxton noticed a young girl drowning, and screaming for help. He tried to inform the lifeguard, but she was preoccupied and the girl in the water died. Paxton explained to Josh that her screaming cries for help have forever haunted him.

His story was interrupted by the Bubble Gum Gang, who leap from a corner of the alleyway, and ask them for bubble gum. Paxton declined, but Josh made a point to give them some money because they are allegedly quite dangerous.

After some more walking, Paxton took notice of a man wearing Oli's jacket, whom he pursued with Josh to the local museum of torture. Paxton confronted the man, asking who he was and where he got the jacket. The man very brashly claimed the jacket to be his, and swiftly walked away from them.

Continuing their walk, they were now near a different lake. Paxton stopped Josh, because he got a text message that he noticed was from Oli. It was a picture of Oli staring blankly, which had the caption "I Go Home". It is revealed that Oli has actually been dissected and decapitated, and Kana's friend is strapped to a chair in a factory room and is about to be killed as well.

Paxton and Josh then accompany Natayla and Svetlana to the club once more as yet another distraction, where Natayla and Svetlana drug their drinks.

Josh, before passing out, reached the hotel lobby, and was escorted back to his bed by Vala. He immediately collapsed on his bed before being abducted.

Meanwhile, Paxton, who was still clubbing with Svetlana and Natalya, stumbled into a storage closet while attempting to find the building's bathroom, where he was locked in shortly after. At the time it may have seemed like a foolish mistake, however, it saved him from being abducted like Josh was.

Odd Disappearances[]

Paxton awakened in the storage closet the next morning hung over from his intoxication, and soon began looking for the seemingly missing Natayla, Svetlana, and Josh. Once he made his way back to the hostel, he consulted with the Desk Clerk Jedi once more, who informed him that Josh supposedly checked out early that morning without informing him. Paxton found that behavior abnormal for Josh, and believed it warranted informing the police. However, they were seemingly useless in the matter, since they told Paxton that that behavior is common, and it wouldn't be considered a disappearance.

Once Paxton began leaving the police station, he caught a glimpse of a departing Svetlana, who was on her way to a local bar in the village. Paxton followed her to discover whether or not she had any information on the whereabouts of Josh and Oli, There, he spoke with Svetlana and Natalya, and demanded to know where his friends were.

Natalya informed him the both of them were at an art exhibition, and Paxton, who was desperate to discover any new information about the location of Josh and Oli, demanded that Natalya would show him where the exhibit was. Natalya agrees, and the both of them drive to a large factory which a taxi driver previously stated was a building with the purpose of making plastic for Slovakia.

Paxton was escorted inside the building free of charge with Natalya. As they walk down the empty corridors, they finally find the room they were looking for. Paxton is greeted by the gruesome sight of his close friend Josh, deceased on an operating table, and being opened up by the businessman they previously sat next to on their train to Slovakia.

Natalya laughed hysterically at the sight, as two large men restrained Paxton and dragged him along the corridor. As Paxton forcefully travelled past each doorway, he caught glimpse of several people, some dead, some being tortured. His destination was an unclean empty room with a single chair in the middle, which he was being forcefully placed into and restrained by the same men who hauled him there.

Mr. American[]

Once he was successfully restrained and unable to escape the chair, the men exited with a slam of the door, giving him a few seconds of complete darkness and silence. After that, an older-looking man in an apron and medical mask swiftly entered the room, followed by two large men, similar to the ones who brought Paxton to where he was. One of the large men forced him to talk at gunpoint, which resulted in Paxton confusedly begging to be let go. However, the large man simply pointed out Paxton's American accent and walked out of the room with his large colleague, leaving Paxton and the surgeon alone. This began a prolonged scene of torture where the man most notably injured Paxton's leg. Once he did this, Paxton pleaded in German for release and mercy, although this only caused the man to prevent him from further speaking by covering Paxton's mouth with a ball gag.

Once Paxton was gagged, the man brandished an active chainsaw close to Paxton's face, which panicked him so much that he threw up. In order to keep Paxton alive longer, the surgeon placed his chainsaw on the floor and removed the ball gag from Paxton's mouth. When it was removed, the man rushingly grabbed the chainsaw, accidentally severing Paxton's right pinky and ring fingers.

The surgeon severing Paxton's fingers was much better than it seemed, because it allowed him to free himself from the restraints on his arms. Once he freed himself, he turned around to see that the man was quickly approaching him with the chainsaw in hand, which caused him to lift his arms in a desperate attempt to save any vital organs. Unexpectedly, however, the man clumsily slipped on the ball gag on the ground. He hit the cold floor, and the chainsaw fell with him, directly onto his leg. It was completely severed in seconds. As the surgeon struggled to process the life-changing injury, it quickly became a battle to see who could get to the gun that fell between them first. Paxton was swiftly trying to lift the chair from its unstable bolts in the ground by wiggling in his seat, and in a matter of seconds, he was able to escape and grab the gun. He shot the surgeon directly in the forehead.

After Paxton was able to slightly recollect himself, he sat back in the chair, facing away from the door. He called for a security guard in German, and quickly turned once he opened the door, shooting and killing a guard as well. Now that the guard blocking the main entrance was dead, he was much more confident in his abilities, and quickly escaped the room.

Paxton did many different things to hide from the guards and other employees of the building, such as wear a disguise similar to what the surgeon was wearing, and pretend to be dead, which caused him to end up on a cart that travelled to an incinerator, where a man carelessly threw many dead bodies into a pit of fire without second thought. On this trip, unfortunately, Paxton was forced to maintain a calm composure as he looked his dead friend, Josh, in the eye one last time before escaping to a locker room. The room was much more clean than the last few rooms he entered, and he was able to wash the blood off his face and find a shirt, jacket, and pants, which deemed as a sufficient replacement to his extremely bloody garments he was wearing previously.

Once Paxton was dressed in his disguise, He looked to a window sill and spotted a business card. It read "Elite Hunting Club", next to a phone number, and was decorated with a picture of a bloodhound, a design identical to the tattoos he recognized prior to being taken to the large building he found himself in.

Before he could question what the card meant, a client of said club walked through the door and sparked a conversation with him. The purchaser asked him many questions, such as his favorite method of murder and if the Elite Hunting Club client could see Paxton's tattoo that each club member was required to have, however, the client was interrupted before he could further question Paxton.

Kana[]

Paxton, upon escaping the suspicions of the purchasing man, exited the factory building, and snuck past an array of guards to reach one of their cars. However, he heard the screams of a girl reminiscent of the child he witnessed drown many years ago, and made the tough decision to return to the building.

Once Paxton had re-entered the building, he located the origin of the screaming in a room that contained the client he met earlier, and Kana, who he was burning the eye socket of with a blowtorch. Paxton shot the purchaser in the chest multiple times until he fell to the ground unconscious, before freeing Kana from her bindings.

Kana was frantically yelling to him in Japanese, but he couldn't understand what she was saying. In order to save her from infection, Paxton severed Kana's hanging eyeball from its socket with a pair of scissors.

Afterwards, Paxton clothed Kana with a formal jacket similar to his, and escorted her outside. Then, with Kana in the passenger seat, he stole one of the guards' vehicles and escaped the premises.

Paxton and Kana were faced with many roadblocks on their way to the train station, most notably the Bubble Gum Gang, who blocked them from passing in a cramped alleyway. However, Paxton was able to bribe the Bubble Gum Gang into letting them pass. Once the guards pursuing Kana and Paxton reach the same alleyway, they came to a complete stop and exited the car. The men, brandishing guns, yelled at the kids in a foreign language, most likely telling the gang to let them pass.

The Bubble Gum Gang completely disregarded their yelling, however. One of the boys threw rocks from a window, knocking them down, which encouraged the others to bludgeon the men to death.

Further into their drive, Paxton hesitated because he noticed Natalya, Svetlana and Alex talking in an alley. After some consideration, he ran them over, killing Svetlana and Alex. Natayla, lying wounded in the alley, was quickly ran over and crushed by the car of Paxton's pursuers.

When their drive was almost over, they were faced with yet another roadblock. This time, corrupt police officers, who were stopping the flow of traffic and searching each car, sometimes pulling people out of their vehicle and beating them. Paxton's is filled with panic once his car is blocked by both sides, when a truck stops behind him in the traffic. He tried to steer his car away, it was too late, since he already managed to attract the attention of the officers. An officer began approaching the car to question them, however, once he got there Paxton and Kana were nowhere to be seen.

Revenge[]

The corrupt officers were patrolling the platform where a train was scheduled to arrive. Kana, upon seeing a reflection of her scarred face, jumped in front of an oncoming train, killing herself and distracting the officers so Paxton could escape onto another moving train.

After Paxton was able to successfully enter the train and take a seat, he recognized the voice of the Dutch businessman, who Paxton witnessed operating on Josh's corpse, coming from a few booths away. Once the train came to a stop at the next station, Paxton pursued the Dutch businessman, who entered the train stations bathroom. Paxton flipped a sign on the bathroom door that once marked the bathroom as 'open' to now say 'closed' before continuing his pursuit of the man. Once the Dutch businessman was in a stall, Paxton slipped the 'Elite Hunting Club' business card under the stalls wall. Once the businessman attempted to retrieve the card, Paxton grabbed his hand, cutting off the same two fingers the German surgeon chopped off of Paxton. Swiftly after, Paxton broke into the stall and drowned the Dutch businessman in the toilet nearly to death. However, he pulled the businessman back up just in time to let him view his reflection before slitting his throat, and receiving revenge for his friend, Josh, in a parallel to the same death that the businessman inflicted on him.

Once a fair amount of time passed, we see that Paxton has rekindled his relationship with an old girlfriend, Stephanie, as well as moved in with her. Around this time we also learn that their breakup was Paxton's main motivation to travel across Europe with his friend Josh, whose mother is unaware of his death. Due to Paxton's fear of being caught by the global 'Elite Hunting Club', including many nightmares that caused him to require heavy pharmaceuticals, he told her a white lie that Josh was still in Europe.

Long run[]

Paxton, awakening from his last nightmare next to Stephanie, demanded the answers to whether anyone knew the location of the house they were staying in. After she admits her sister knew, they exchanged a few more remarks to each other, including Paxton reassuring her that all of his anger was rooted in worry for their safety. Afterwards, Paxton walked downstairs to make food to take with his pharmaceuticals.

Once Stephanie woke up in the morning, she noticed that Paxton still had not came back to bed, however assumed it was only because he woke up earlier than her. She walked downstairs to greet her boyfriend in the kitchen, where, instead of eating breakfast as expected, was decapitated in his chair by an 'Elite Hunting Club' member who drove a motorcycle. The club member then delivered his head to Sasha Rassimov who wanted Paxton's head for Axelle's sake, who was friends with Alex, Natalya, and Svetlana, all of which Paxton had killed. His head was then stored with many other heads in Sasha and Axelle's mansion in Slovakia, where Beth Salinger stumbled upon it before being abducted and brought to the 'art exhibit'.
